About
Corey and Jordan have known each other throughout their childhood. Although their musical journeys have been vastly different, they have always been able to collaborate creatively and efficiently. They always knew they would create a recording studio together. Training each other on what they have learned over the years allows them to complete any task and provide a high-energy environment. Our artists say they feel safe and encouraged to explore their creative ideas.
Corey Buystedt
Growing up, music was always a focus in my family. My dad always had a recording studio in our house. He taught me how to use vintage recording gear and I was fully trained to operate a studio by the time I was 12. I've been playing instruments since I was 7 years old and am fluent in most. After dropping out of high school during my second year, I began training for professional recording. Years of classes later, I started accumulating gear, skills, and experience. I'm excited to work on more projects and to improve Vast Audio.
Jordan Owens
I started my musical journey when I was 12 years old as a bassist for the band Seraphica. I was one of the main songwriters and have been a studio musician from an early age. Upon releasing my first studio EP with Seraphica, I became very interested in the art of music production. I went on to produce electronic music; spending years mastering my craft as a producer, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer. It brings me a lot of joy to take an artist's vision and execute it to its fullest potential.
